Can you believe “Going the Distance” is happening THIS Saturday? I know for me, a student at CSUSB, is excited.  The best part about this event is that it is is all student-led.  The students of CSUSB’s Communications 243D class are putting on this awesome event.  Our goal was to to inspire middle-school students to go to college, to better the city of San Bernardino, but it has changed into something so much bigger.  With all of the stories that we’ve heard from leaders in the San Bernardino, it’s not just the kids who needed help.  We needed the help as well, and we were shocked at the results we heard.  We’re now determined to go out and help EVERYONE and ANYONE go to college, whether your planning on going to CSUSB or another school. It’s going to be an AMAZING event, full of all the little “need-to-knows” about going to college.  And what’s better than FREE? Free food, free prizes, free music, free raffle, free information about how to go to college and better yourselves AND your paycheck in the future? Sign me up.  Through these economic times, an education is valuable, and “Going the Distance” will give you those tools. You’ll be able to meet representatives from Financial Aid, Admissions, Athletics, and our Greeks.  Come out and have some fun! The event is THIS Saturday at CSU, San Bernardino in the Commons.  The Commons are located to the right of University Hall.  See you there!
